Delivery Information

At Burghley Bespoke Interiors, every piece of furniture is handmade to your exact requirements. Because each item is crafted with care and attention, please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for your furniture to be completed to our high standards.

For ease of transport and installation, certain items, such as our larders, are made in two parts and assembled in your home. For larger items or homes with restricted access, we can make your piece in three parts and assemble it on-site.

Delivery Times

When you place your order, you will be advised of the expected Delivery Period and asked to confirm your acceptance of this timeframe. Should any unforeseen circumstances affect your delivery date, we will notify you promptly and request approval for a revised schedule.

Arranging Delivery

Once your furniture is ready, we will contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery day. Please ensure we have both a contact number and an email address so we can confirm details quickly.

Access & Delivery Requirements

Before arranging delivery, we will require:

  • Doorway measurements and stair counts

  • Details of parking access and any restrictions (e.g., limited time parking zones)

  • Whether there is an elevator or the number of flights of stairs if not

  • Information about curbs, narrow pathways, or other obstacles

This is because your furniture will be delivered by hand, and we need to ensure the correct number of team members are sent for safe and efficient delivery.

It is your responsibility to ensure:

  • Adequate access to the intended room, including sufficient doorway and stairway clearance

  • A clear, safe route from the delivery vehicle to the delivery point, free from obstacles or hazards

  • Accessibility for a large delivery van, if unsure, please contact us before delivery is arranged

All trip hazards, furniture, ornaments, cables, or wall fixtures along the delivery route must be removed in advance. For health and safety reasons, our team cannot remove their shoes. We cannot be held responsible for damage to such items unless caused by our negligence.

Receiving Your Furniture

Upon delivery, you will be required to inspect your furniture and sign to confirm receipt. If you notice any issues at the time of delivery, please inform our delivery team immediately and contact Burghley Bespoke Interiors. We may request photographs and details to help us resolve the matter quickly. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery Costs

Delivery charges will be confirmed when you place your order or as stated on our website. Some geographical locations may incur a delivery surcharge, please enquire for details.

Our Delivery Service

We do not use third-party couriers. All deliveries are made by our own experienced team, ensuring your furniture arrives safely, without knocks or scratches. If assembly is required, our team will carry this out in your home with the same care and craftsmanship as in our workshop. While other carriers may offer a cheaper price, they cannot provide the same level of service or on-site assembly.
